Tape BFour Years
Of Visuals
Custom 3D visuals built for Tape B's live show since 2023 — modeled, animated and delivered in 4K for Resolume. What began as a single pack has run four years across festival stages, Red Rocks and a national tour, growing into fifty-three clips built around one evolving visual language: the cassette, the emblem, the boombox, the city.
TAPE B2026
An arcade-themed pack pitched off the direction their recent work was already moving. Built as variant sets rather than one-offs — each concept delivered as a day and a night pass, or as two camera views of the same build, so the same clip could carry a set from open to close without repeating itself.

Berk likes the following clips: 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Can you let us know a total for these? We'd love to move forward.

TAPE B2025
The biggest year. It opened with a commissioned ten-clip 4K pack — the concept pulled the face onto the cassette tape, took the environment from the cover art and the colour palette from the preview visual, so the set read as one world rather than ten unrelated loops. Mid-year, a second batch came out of their EDC set, including a Red Rocks-specific piece built ahead of the October show. Twenty-three clips in total, plus the specular and emblem simulation studies the pack was built on.

We love all of your past work and are ready for a new pack.

Thanks for whipping these up! We are down to buy all 4.

TAPE B2024
Nine clips built around the cassette as a physical object — swarmed, tangled, unspooled into liquid, driven. This is the year the motif hardened into a system: the same asset reinterpreted through simulation rather than redesigned each time, which is what made the following year's commissioned pack possible on a fixed schedule.

TAPE B2023
Where it started. Twelve clips establishing the city that every later pack returns to — the bridge, the road, the street view, the building scale shot, the logo loop. Several went through a revision pass, and those paired versions are kept here as delivered: the original and the revision, side by side.

Four years on, the relationship still runs through the same two people — Berk, and Austin at Koru Group — and the work has since extended into VJ rate conversations and live-set support.
